Hurricane Irma in Surfside, FL
This water damage/ remediation in a prestigious Surfside Hotel was a result of Hurricane Irma. The water affected about 50% of the building, causing some units to have small quantities of mold and others to simply have affected materials with water stains. SERVPRO sent managers to do a walk through of the project in its entirety and create a scope of work. Over 30 laborers were on site putting up containments, removing affected drywall and carpet, and cleaning all of the affected rooms. As well as, setting equipment in the completed units throughout the 11 floors. The hotel even had their own hygienist going in after SERVPRO, testing the units for mold and they were ecstatic that the job was completed in merely two weeks.
